09. Cemetry Gates
10. Is It Really So Strange?
11. Rubber Ring >> What She Said
12. That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore
13. London
14. Meat Is Murder
15. Still Ill
16. The Draize Train
17. I Know It's Over
18. Bigmouth Strikes Again
Source: AUD
Quality: A-
Lineage: AUD > some sort of Sony chrome tape > CDWav > EAC > .flac
Notes:
I bought the tape out of the back pages of the NME about a week after this show. I haven't seen it torrented before.
I love this set. The sound quality improves remarkably after the first track, as I remember. So don't be discouraged with
the version of "Ask". Just check out the remainder of the set. The bass is a bit challenging to hear, but both guitars and
the drums are very clear indeed. I don't care too much for audience recordings at all, but this one passes muster.
The band plays really, really well. This was Craign Gannon's last show with the band, and the penultimate (next-to-last)
show by The Smiths. I torrented the last gig at the Brixton Academy a month or so ago.
From "The Smiths: A Visual Documentary" by Johnny Rogan
On the eve of Johnny Marr's 23rd birthday, The Smiths return home for a performance at the Free Trade Hall. Craig Gannon is
no longer in a position to take part in any birthday celebrations. "The Manchester Free Trade Hall gig was the last gig I
played with them," he reflects. "After the gig, when everyone had gone home, I felt quite a relief just being away from it.
I didn't hear from anyone after that gig. It wasn't as if I'd fallen out with Johnny, so there was no reason why they
couldn't tell me what was happening."
Hope you enjoy the show.

Again, glad to see this proved to be rather popular.
I'm following this up with another "Douglas" seed from a while back: An almost complete recording of the 1986 G-Mex gig. Hope folks will find that beneficial as well!! :D

I am new to the Torrent world and still trying to figure out how this all works. Can someone please be kind enough to give me the quick update on protocol and how I start to obtain download access? I am not sure where to go and how to approach the subject so I figured I would just ask.

I see this exact same show is up on Dime as well now and i've tried to ask them a question about the show, i'll ask here as well and maybe someone can confirm..
I have a copy of this show (supposedly this show) and my version has 19 tracks, extra track which is not listed above is "The Queen Is Dead" at track 2 - this is included on the artwork as well..
I'm pretty sure my version is from this date but don't want to download the whole show to check..
Can anyone shed any light ?

Your version is correct. The full set was 19 tracks, according to this, which was done in conjunction with Steve, who recorded the original bootleg.
