I lived blocks away from that place as a kid. Near a bad neighborhood, and the historical status saved it from being demolished.

It's a very nice venue. The immediate neighborhood is totally safe. You can park for free in the Stop & Shop parking lot around the corner. I've sat in the front of the orchestra and the front of the mezzanine. Both are excellent in terms of sight and sound. For my interests, mainly video recording, the front of sections 9 and 16 are ideal:
