You are all very welcome, glad I could help.
Just wondering what everyone thought of the programme?
I thought it was okay, but nothing great.
Bit of something & nothing.
Worth a watch for sure but can't see myself digging out the DVD very often.
Maybe I am being over critical, not sure?
Needed band members etc to make it more appealing.
Over to others....

Thank you for grabbing this and sharing it with us. I am pretty bummed about missing the Nashville show this past weekend due to work and boyfriend drama (is that not redundant?) Thus, unboyfriendable here needs a visual fix and this will be a huge help particularly to those of us USA peeps who don't have SkyArts.
Thanks again,
Unboyfriendable

Thanks for the video, but it's a terrible documentary.
The guy says Johnny Marr's real name is pronounced Johnny Mayer. It's isn't, it's Johnny Maher, and Maher is an Irish surname pronounced "Marr". That's why he changed the spelling.
Later the woman misquotes the first line from This Charming Man, as "on a hilltop desolate".
I switched it off and deleted if after that. They know less than me about The Smiths so I figured I wasn't gonna enjoy it.

OK - it was poor and I wouldn't recommend downloading. But thanks for making it available crazycol!
The various talking heads were quite obviously handed a paragraph or two and asked to parrot it to the camera. No new news, no new footage.
Morrissey 25:live was shown immediately after on Sky Arts which was rather more worthwhile!

No problem glad I was able to share it here for you all.
The program was poor for sure.
If I was being generous I would score maybe 3/10.
Part of the problem was the lack of band members input & the short time frame.
To go into the band properly would take much longer.
One to file under the bed or back of cupboard to maybe watch on a day when little else is happening!

It reminded me of Morrissey's appearance on The One Show. They played some 'celebrity' tributes, which consisted of a load of politicians Morrissey despises misquoting his lyrics and saying what big fans they were.
The One Show presenters, assuming Morrissey would be impressed, asked him what he thought of it.
He just said "do they mean me? are you sure?". He was astonished at the whole embarrassing spectacle.
