Ok, I only have a few live recordings, Middlesbrough 86 and Manchester 89. I had one other recording that wasn't labeled and it had an amazing version of Paint a Vulgar Picture. As soon as they start with the first few chords the audience goes wild and everyone starts singing along and they keep up with Mo throughout the entire song. IF anyone knows where this came from PLEASE help me find it.
EDIT- It wasn't an American Show and from what I remember from the acoustics it had to have been an outdoor a Stadium (if it were indoors there would have been too much echo on the audience sing-a-long) . Also, I have noticed in American Shows people WHOOO and people scream over the songs, in the version I had, literally everyone was singing along, the only screaming was when the guitar started.

The Smiths never played it live. Morrissey did play it through most of the 1997 tour.

I have been looking through shows and I am thinking it's not a US show because so far in all of the shows I have downloaded the crowd screams more than they sing. The recording I had was very clean but there were so many people singing together that they almost drowned out MO.

You're probably looking for the Kissimmee, FL show from the 97 tour. The 2 Smiths songs from the show circulate in soundboard quality. It's much cleaner sounding than the LA 10/12/97 show.

The Smiths broke up before Strangeways was released, none of those tracks got played live by the band.
IIRC The last songs they recorded that were played live were Sheila Take A Bow and Shoplifters Of The World Unite, Sheila only ever being recorded live for a TV show in April 87 and Shoplifters being played at the same TV appearance and at the final proper gig at Brixton 12/12/86.

I have it as a bootleg called 'All Over Battersea, Some Hope and Some Despair'. I don't see the audio seeded here.
