I'm new here - thanks for this site - a little treasure trove.
A question about my newly acquired Deluxe box which i assumed would allow me to pick up all the bits and pieces I've missed over the years with The Smiths:
what is mssing?
It seems to me there is no "Wonderful Woman"?
(Although I may have missed it!)
Is that the only track of note?
Various other bits like sundry live B-sides (and the remixes of This Charming Man!) which are usually omitted from sets like this.
I guess the only one of real note from officially released live tracks is that James cover?
Does anyone have a list of of what is actually not on Complete?

Swine!
I was trying to get someone else to do the work!!!!
OK well - doing some homework Wonderful Woman does indeed seem to be a rather strange omission.
As far as I can tell the only official studio one that doesn't appear.
But fairly easy to pick up ...
We also have the myriad of This Charming Man remixes which confuse me utterly but i think these ones are off box set;
This Charming Man (Manchester) 2:42
This Charming Man (London) 2:45
This Charming Man (New York Vocal) Remix – François Kevorkian 5:33
This Charming Man (New York Instrumental) Remix – François Kevorkian 4:17
This Charming Man (Single Remix) 2:44
(Somebody may have to correct me there as apart from the Peel session version I'm not sure which version is on the single in the box set! )
Various Peel Tracks that have an official release:
Miserable Lie (Peel session)
Nowhere Fast (Peel Session)
William, It Was Really Nothing (Peel Session)
Not quite so easy to pick up.
Prob better to get a decent boot when you'd get not officially released tracks too.
Same thing applies to the live bits and pieces:
What's The World? (Live Glasgow, September 1985) (James cover version)
Nowhere Fast (Live Oxford, 18 Mar 1985) 2:31
Stretch Out And Wait (Live Oxford, 18 Mar 1985) 2:49
Shakespeare's Sister (Live Oxford, 18 Mar 1985) 2:12
Hand In Glove (Live Brixton Academy, December 1986) 2:48
Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others (Live Brixton Academy, December 1986)
Then we have the one of the Sandie Shaw affiliated trio of tracks (That are or are not The Smiths depending on your view!):
Jeane 2:50
(Edited 15.1.12 as I originally mistakenly identified two tracks of not being present!)
Then that's about it?
Of Course the bulk of the Troy Tate stuff isn't there ditto all the Peel / Kid Jensen session outings.
Have I rounded it up?

Jeane is on two of the B-sides of the 7"s as is Draize Train (well - that's only on one!)
- are you testing me? Is this an initiation?
Reel Around The Fountain (PEEL session version) / Jeane
This Charming Man / Jeane (Tate Version)
Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others / The Draize Train
I still can't thank the people of ths site enough.
All the video stuff is especially lovely - I will have to get another external HD for it all.
THANKS.

Then we have the Sandie Shaw affiliated trio of tracks (That are or are not The Smiths depending on your view!):
Hand In Glove 2:59
I Don't Owe You Anything 4:04
Jeane 2:50
Even better (and rarer) is the full length version of Jeane, which is about 3:15 long.

That's where I have it from. However, it's actually 3:15 long.

The iTunes LP contains better info than the CD box. IMO it's much better but of course the box is lossless.
