Posted and shared on DIME from taper __rimbaud__ A big thanks to rimbaud for the quick turnaround...! From rimbaud's notes: =================================================================================== MORRISSEY
York Barbican
25th June 2011 This is my recording
Front Balcony Right
Olympus LS10 24 bit>adobe audition>16 Bit
>cdwave>traders little helper>flac level 8
recorder __rimbaud__ Morrissey - Voice and the Tetley Bitter Men
Boz Boorer
Matt Walker
Scott Walker
Jesse Tobias
Gustavo Manzour I left the south, I travelled north on the plus side
The Voice, as commanding resonant and clear
as at any time in the last 28 years
and this recording captures that very well, i think.
The set, any set that includes I Know It's Over
Meat Is Murder, Shoplifters, Sunday, Speedway
and Alma Matters has to be a killer, plus at least
2 of the new songs sounding much better in a live setting truly dissapointed...
in the overall sound, too often
the band sounded like an incoherent mush
way too low in the mix....
i'm putting this down to the house p.a
and/or where i was sat, rather than any
inadequecies of the much unfairly maligned band or maybe you know better..... 01.intro
02. I Want The One I Can't Have
03. The First Of The Gang To Die
04. You Have Killed Me
05. Shoplifters Of The World Unite
06. The Kid's A Looker
07. Ouija Board, Ouija Board
08. There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
09. Everyday Is Like Sunday
10. band intros
11. People Are The Same Everywhere
12. Alma Matters
13. Speedway
14. Satellite Of Love
15. I Know It's Over
16. I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
17. One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell
18. Action Is My Middle Name
19. Meat Is Murder
20. Irish Blood, English Heart
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
21. This Charming Man Total Time 79:52 if you download this, please leave a comment
it's always much appreciated..

ah Monster, thanks for putting this one up here
after listening back to this for the 4th time today
i think it's a pretty good rec, all things considered
better than my initial reckoning
the acoustics in that place aren't the greatest and forgive my senior "scott walker" moment
sorry solomon...

Thanks for sharing. A lucky member of this forum got 2 York tickets on the black market on Saturday for £35 each. I'll be off to see him at Bradford tonight and Leeds in a fortnight :-)

Glad to hear you're going to the shows! Let us know how they are... rimbaud
The show sounds great to my ears. It's the first complete one I know of, from his current tour (even the video from last Friday is missing the last song). Thanks again!

Slightly different set at Bradford, we got You're The One For Me Fatty quite early on, probably second or third track. A fuse went early during the song that followed Meat Is Murder (Irish Blood...) and they left the stage, but came on afterwards to finish the set but "Irish Blood" never got finished. Think we may have been spared "The Kid's A Looker"....
