Thanks a lot for your nice effort for creating a torrent file here,
I've missed the chance at Moz-solo so great there's this opportunity here.
Cheers

so this is why Morrissey wore that "F*** Morrissey-Solo.com" shirt? He never wanted to "release" the Hollywood Bowl DVD, and found out that someone released the audio from the promo disc, and got mad?
Honestly, I never understood why he couldn't just hammer down a deal where it could be released officially, I know he says Warner had no right to do so, but sometimes I think he just goes overboard. I mean, I experienced this show in person, and arguably it was his best show since the 97 tour (at least to me). Oh well.....
thanks for the torrent by the way. =)

No, someone on Moz Solo told Boz on Facebook that people on there had been making comments about:
His weight.
The musicianship of the band.
The way they play TCM.
Jesse's songwriting etc etc.
The 3 new songs.
Hence the t-shirts, hence the "You're the one for me, fatty" at Bradford....
To be fair i'd say:
He has put on weight but that's his business. Part of getting older, Moz isn't waiflike anymore either. Neither am I for that matter
The band might not be The Smiths but anyone who heard them play Cemetry Gates on the Swords tour would have been impressed at how much effort they went to to get it just right and I don't mind them taking a bit of artistic licence generally.
I love the way they do TCM.
He's no Alain Whyte.
Hardly the most inspiring songs he's ever written, far from it.

you reach that .... your muscles wave a little white flag and suddenly you're fat b@st@rd - i've joined that club too ........ ish ;o)
must bands/singers who change their line up , don't play the songs the same as they are written/released - its called progression . bowie changed the way he played 'the man who sold the world' after he heard nirvana's unplugged version.

I'd be unhappy if i saw a band live who played the record note-for-note anyway.
Yep, the Carter USM sample from Red Dwarf. "34/35" is about right too.

Ah, so nothing of what I suspected it was. I can say for myself that I'm nowhere near my "weight" of 1997, let alone 2004! So those points given to Boz are low blows, cheap shots at best, hopefully they (as the band) don't take it to heart. TCM the modern version is not my cup of tea, but then again it is not my song either, so it really doesn't bother me.

Don't mean to be rude but when did we start sharing MP3 files? There is already a FLAC shared for this show, http://smithstorrents.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=2249
What the reason for posting this mp3?

It's ripped from an official but unreleased source so the quality is much improved despite the compression.
Agree that MP3s should be avoided where possible but if it's a major upgrade....
