I did not go to this show, not sure why maybe it was my turn to run the stall, this recording is by a different Steve who used to hang around the stall every weekend, he used to record some shows for me when I couldn't go.

Thanks Paul. This sounds quite a lot like the recording that Steve shared here as his own but you say in your introduction that it was recorded by "a different Steve"... Unless the two Steves were standing side by side and picked up the same banter from neighbours? Can any of you Soundsvilles clear this up?
Sorry for once again putting your memory to the test!

Sorry, all I've got is a scribbled on metal cassette, I'm not sure if Steve and Steve may have gone together? I'm not sure how I ended up with a copy of Soundsville Steve's tape I can't remember copying it...........

the copy I have is on one of those chrome cassettes we had made for us for the stall. I wondered why it wasn't on a metal tape like the others. Must have given you the master to copy or something. I suspect this is the master tape of my recording. I know I recorded it

its on a "That's" metal tape with my handwriting on the label and cover, I thought I had an alternative recording of Salford as well but that turned out to be a copy of yours also. I thought I'd gotten both these from Steve who used to hang around the stall most weekends and occaisionally travelled to gigs as well. Jesus how long has it been? I can't remember a thing.
