This is from a 1st or 2nd Gen tape that I got in the late 80s.
The tape actually says its from The Kingswood show in Toronto 31.07.86, but PJLM says this is in fact the London show. I know I traded it from a taper in Canada who taped stuff himself and knew other tapers. I can't imagine why he would mislabel it ... maybe he just copied the wrong tape.
This was a request from FWD ... so sorry Franck. But hope you enjoy the show anyway

I'm actually in the process of changing this to Toronto. I have been in contact with certain people who were certain this was London because of details in the show, and others who were certain it was Toronto because of other details (based on old reviews of the shows printed in the local papers at the time). At first I thought the recording was more likely to be London because of the presence of HKIMN in the set (London setlists usually don't list that title). But then the instrumental Bigmouth and the problems at the beginning of "Still Ill" make it more likely to be Toronto, so I'm making all the appropriate corrections, leaving a comment saying that there is still that slight change the recording is from London.
It's quite a coincidence that you are putting this up just as I was working making these corrections.
thanks,
Stephane

The London, Ontario show used to circulate on cassette with an interview with Morrissey that was taped at CHRW (the local campus radio station) during the Smiths' stay in town, so that may be another way of identifying the Centennial Hall show
I remember seeing the cassette for sale at a record show at... Centennial Hall (lol).
