If you were to make a few cds with a live version of each smiths song, which versions from which shows would you put on it?

Can't say i collect every show on here but the long version of Barbarism Begins At Home from Irvine Meadows should be on there.
London-Miserable Lie from the December 1986 show at Brixton Academy as well.

Thanks. I went and had a listen to barbarism and its awesome.
London Miserable Lie directly preceeds Some Girls, so I would use all 3 of those.
Of course I also like the Miserable Lie variations Marr played around 85 where he begins the song with a different guitar line.

Also the The Hand That Rocks The Cradle & What Do You See In Him? from the Hacienda gig which is on the Butterfly Collector boot are both great.
You may need to rip the audio yourself but the Versailles gig in the video section has a very unusual thing in that Rusholme Ruffians leads into This Charming Man, well worth having too.

It's always the little changes they do in live versions that you wish were recorded in the studio.
