Excellent, thanks for that. Disposed of my diaries for that period a long time ago.
This was the only my 2nd ever gig and the first time I'd seen The Smiths. I still rank it as one of my all time favourite gigs. A group of us went from 6th form at high school and we "aquired" lots of daffodils on route to take into the venue. Annoyingly I don't have the ticket for it. They collected them off us on entry but I later found out that they handed some back to people as they left. I do remember it being the last date of the tour and think it may have been rescheduled from earlier due to illness. Support group that night were the Red Guitars.
