Thanks Steve and Merry Christmas to all.
The audio on The Queen Is Dead sounds fine anyway, the original recording on your video camera must have been pretty good (although some of the nth generation copies previously distributed didn't sound anything like as good).

Now i'm puzzled: has this been already sourced here before ? i'm really confused and cannot find out myself if i already took another brxiton aca dvd boot earlier this year..
(or if there are 2 versions, is this one better then ?)

There are 3 versions as far as i'm aware, all based on the filming by Steve but with different audio:
#1
The original one with slightly dodgy sound, this is on a DVD with 2 shows on it
http://smithstorrents.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=324
#2
The same video with audio taken from the "Somebody Waved Goodbye" bootleg and any gaps filled in with the original sound.

#3
The new Soundsville one (this one) with Steve adding Big Al's recording; "The Queen Is Dead" is from Steve's original camcorder audio and if that is anything to go by i'd say the dodgy sound on #1 isn't down to Steve's tape as it sounds fine to me on here.

Also ... this version is taken straight from the master Video8 tape, whereas the other 2 are from VHS copies of this, so the video should be better quality too

If I may add something, the "Somebody Waved Goodbye" bootleg is the BigAl recording, so both have the same audio overdubbed. But I suspect "Somebody Waved Goodbye" is a generation or two down from BigAl's original. Also, the video of Steve's version (#3) is straight from the master, so you can't beat that.
