Any particularly weird Smiths covers you've heard?

Of course, there's the famous Pizni Iz The Smiths album by The Ukrainians, with The Smiths' songs played on traditional Slavic instruments, but other than that Smiths covers seem to be pretty straightforward (Dream Academy "Please Please Please...", Billy Bragg "Jeane") or needlessly punk-rocked up (Anthrax "London" and the mostly dire "The World Still Won't Listen" compilation). Any particularly wacky or interesting ones you've heard?

how about the light (3000) by schneider tm, which is a wicked cover of there is a light done in a glitchy aphex style.

Stars do This Charming Man. Heard it in Gap one day and trawled the file sharing sites till I found it. I like it.

I heard a cover of Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others by some band whose name I forget, I think it was Supergrass. I didn't like it very much.

Bostonians - This Charming Man
A vocal-only rendition, which is surprisingly impressive!

Christian Kjellvander & Lise Westsynthius' duet of "Hand in glove" is certainly different, still can't decide whether i like it or not.
Recliners' "Girlfriend in a coma" is quite jazzy and i like it.
Cinerama's breathy slowed-down version of "London" is very different and i like it a lot, but i always liked The Wedding Present and their singer is Cinerama's singer as well.
So that's 3 i'd recommend listening to.
My take on covers is if they sound too much like the original what's the point but you don't want someone trashing a classic either.
I quite like Anthrax's "London", though i think the original was heavier personally!!!!

The Autumns - "Please, Please..." not a particularly great cover though imo.

The Dream Academy version of the same song isn't great either.
The instrumental bit which is in the soundtrack for "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" is fine but the singing is horribly twee.
