Folks,
Got this Milano pressed CD boot a long time ago in one of those shops in NYC's Village. Of note is the Moz covers of "Trash" and "That's Entertainment".
The best description of this show comes from the "Passions just like mine" website (http://www.passionsjustlikemine.com/moz-b.htm).
Enjoy...!

This concert got really good reviews in the papers in the following days, despite the fact that the venue was too big and not the type of place you'd see Morrissey play. Security was very strict and there was a wide gap between Morrissey and the barrier holding the fans, so no one got on stage (actually one person did, but coming from the side of the stage).
Morrissey introduced "King Leer" with "This song was written by... William Shakespeare". About "That's Entertainment", Morrissey started "This song was written by... by..." when someone shouted "Johnny Marr!" which Morrissey corrected to "...Noel Coward".
Fair audience recording on cd; full concert.
There are microphone problems at the beginning of the first song, but this remains the best bootleg for this concert.

I do like the early Moz/Stephen Street era. At first I didn't really care for the quality of this boot - but I've learned to appreciate it, especially when played loud...!

Am I too late to jump on this show? If there are any seeders left, I would be very grateful :)

I'd love to hear this one again too, it was the first Moz gig I ever went to - yes, the venue is too big but I was pretty close to the stage and had a great time!

I know this is rather late in the day but as I'm new to Smithstorrents I would be very grateful if anybody could seed this (the first solo show I attended). They also played Brixton Academy the following night which I don't think is listed here either............
With regards the microphone problems in the description above during the first song, presumably these are referring to the problems with the PA (Morrissey's voice was very low initially) rather than problems with the recording microphones?
Thanks in advance to anybody who can help.
