23. //Bigmouth Strikes Again I have this same recording from two different sources. I believe the recording is the same as the others uploaded here, but I think the quality of my two sources are a bit better (lower generation? different transfers?). The recording itself is excellent, except for one major flaw ... the taper experienced some brickwalling in his pre-amp. That's my guess of what happened. In my experience it is difficult to tell when that is happening; until you get home and listen to your recording that is. This is rip of a CD I got in trade sometime around 2002. My notes say it was made from the master tape. I don't know who the taper is. I've always assumed it was the same taper as the other Los Angeles '86 master transfer I have. For some reason the transfer of the last two tracks isn't as good as the rest of the tracks and the last song is cut. I left some humorous banter between the taper and other audience members in here. I'll put up the other transfer I have on Monday. I got it from D Jones about 10 years ago. I don't know the exact generation of the source, but it's pretty low, the last two tracks aren't murky like this transfer and the last track isn't cut. Enjoy! Brian

Nice one for this... it includes a one-off performance from the tour of Reel Around The Fountain but you all will know that :)
