Slightly off-topic on this forum, but Marr's 14-yr old son Nile has a band (Kid 4077), they're on myspace.
I've listened to Bethany Joy for sometime now, it's a quiet little number, very melodic. It's nicely done. They evidently have some new tracks up since I last looked and some radio exposure coming up. Their first, if I recall.
http://myspace.com/kid4077, their myspace if anyone's interested. Also if you notice under 'friends', Johnny actually created a page to add as a friend, you can see a close-up of him when you click on it.

I have to admit. That's one talented kid. Apparently, brilliance runs in the family. Johnny has sired a worthy heir.

Young Marr is spending time in Portland these days with his father. Hm, I'm nostalgic for wanting young Nile to get inspiration for music from back home rather than the States, heh.

Niles played with his dad on the song You Get Through in Auckland this year. He also played on stage with the band on Down On The Corner for the 7 Worlds Collide benefit for Oxfam.

Wow, thanks for pointing these out, especially 'Down on the Corner', one of my favorite songs by Marr, Healers or not. (and probably IS the best Healers' song, imo) Good footage there.
Can't miss Nile with his plaid shirt and cap de rigeur, eh?
